GangaShoora Volunteers: Guardians of the Ganga's Future!

Mode of operation
- Base Camp: Rishikesh, Tented accommodation complete with all the basic necessities for a comfortable stay, in the middle of pristine nature & jungle environment.
- Ganga Shoora Batch Size: Group of 40 to 100 students
- Ganga cleaning module: while taking a tracking activity on the banks of Ganga, under expert guidance, non-biodegradable waste from the banks and track route will be collected physically and disposed off properly. The activity will include session in the previous evening on safety drill, does & don’t, adventure/educational discussions delivered/moderated by experts & environmentalists and rare photo/video shows on adventure activities involving nature.

- Getting into the wilderness of nature – wild life, birds, flora& fauna and eco-system of Ganga river

Expenses of the trip
Cyme of Social Development is a society registered under section 1860 of Societies Registration Act, India and operates on not-for-profit principle. We will accept a reasonable amount from each of the participants to cover the cost of lodging & boarding and minor program expenses. In order to make the expenses minimum, we have a tie-up with a Camping Company, in bulk for 3 years at one go. Our resource persons for lectures will be from Govt Institutions and people who have passion for this noble cause.
